How we learn
We use a mixture of child and adult initiated activities.
These make up the majority of the learning in EY, which manifest themselves as play.
As children play they unconsciously ask and answer questions as they emerge, pursuing trains of thought, experimenting with variables, theorizing, making connections between one thing and another.
Learning through play involves letting the child dictate the activities and adult building on and supporting the child towards their next steps.

How we assess in Early Years
We use ongoing assessments throughout the day through observations and document these with photos, which we will share with parents via Class Dojo starting in May 2024.
We utilize SIS Building Blocks to guide us in identifying each child's next steps and supporting their achievement.
Additionally, tests are conducted at the end of each semester, and a final assessment is completed at the end of KG2.
