Primary Program

At Siam International School, our Primary Program is designed to foster a passion for learning, encourage intellectual curiosity, and develop the critical skills necessary for academic and personal success. Our Approach to Learning

Our Primary curriculum is based on a balanced, inquiry-driven approach that integrates core subjects with the development of essential life skills. Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)

  • In these early stages, we focus on establishing strong foundations in Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. We emphasize inquiry-based learning, where students explore topics in-depth, ask questions, and develop problem-solving skills. Our curriculum also incorporates Thai Culture, ensuring that students develop an understanding of local heritage alongside global perspectives.

Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4)

  • As students progress into Lower Key Stage 2, we continue to build on their academic foundation while fostering critical thinking and independent learning. Our approach encourages students to apply their understanding of core subjects in real-world contexts, particularly through text-based learning in English and problem-solving tasks in Mathematics. At this stage, students begin to explore more complex scientific concepts and refine their investigative skills.

Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 & 6)

  • In Upper Key Stage 2, students focus on developing higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, evaluation, and synthesis. They become adept at applying investigative techniques and critical reasoning across disciplines. Through collaborative projects and individual research, students gain a deeper understanding of global and local issues while enhancing their ability to communicate ideas effectively.
